hi, my cupra will be needing some new tyres in the next couple of weeks and i was just after some advice on what people prefer to use? i used to use the toyo t1r's on my polo, they were pretty good all round and quite reasonable but they're a very soft tyre so dont seem to last long!!

so basically what i'm asking is what do you use and why?! cheers

I have just got a new set of boots on the front of mine! Only being a 1.4 it doesn't require half the grip that your cupra will, however I managed to get Nankang Ns2's £35 a corner delivered, and then £15 for them both fitting. I got em off E-bay, always some good offers on there, believe there are a number of toyos on there too!!!

yea buy off ebay then get a local place to fit them...could save yourself a few bob.

I had toyo proxie 4 on my remapped FR but will prob go for Falken or paradas this time

vredestein sassantas

one of the best tyres out there. amazing wet weather grip and good int he dry too. Lot of people reliaing how good they are and have been highly rated by EVO mag too.

It was £15 all in for the two, and that was for both of them, at a QuickFit garage too! :) Only ever take them there cos it's run by an old skool mechanic and he has never damaged an alloy in all the years I have been going to him!
