Underseat Subwoofer

No not really as Pioneer fan, just what came up when I searched. There are quite a few out there. The second one I have personally heard it and could not believe the the level bass coming out from it.

these are self contained units, the sub/amp in 1 box. they are good for people who have space issues, but a purpose built box and sub with a proper amp will always sound better. It just depends what you are after bass wise.

Iv got an alpine underseat sub. Its decent, definetly fills a gap in the sound.
but youll need a sub for any kind of real bass.
an idea i thought of was a custom box+slim sub under one seat and an amp under the other.

Jarre and myself have vibe slicks door speakers. I can't fault them, especially for only £40 a pair. I know jarre rates them highly too
I've been put off slimline subs hence asking about underseat ones. Read too many reviews saying that they may as well be a big door speaker
I'm thinking maybe two underseat ones. Even if they don't actually give off more bass than slimlines. Surely they will, literally, feel more powerful with the bum vibrations?
I sell loads of underseat ones and they work really well. Pioneer ts-wx110 is quite small as it uses a single 6x9" woofer. Focal ibus20 uses an 8". Ts-wx77a certainly isn't underseat ! Look at the dimensions - it's nearly a metre long!!!
I've fitted a quite a lot of the focal with really good results, I've also done some of the Boss versions along with the Rainbow one too (looks like a copy of a Focal).
New small Alpine one works quite well (SWE something something, can't remember full part number as I've switched off from work mode at 11pm!)
If you don't mind something small in the boot then look at the new Hertz ES F20 and F25 slim boxes (need an amplifier too), or the new Jl Audio CP108 subwoofer box which uses a JL Audio 8w3 in a special slot port design box ( just listen to one if you can find one to demo - they sound amazing, but no built in amp and not cheap) (if you can find the JL Sales Managers Blue VW Scirocco then it has one fitted)
Also the Rockford Prime and Punch slim range in Rockfords own boxes work really well

Straight swap mate. There fine without an amp but you would need a little one to get full potential out of them
Do u need any form of adaptor for the wiring and the physical mounting of it?

Mk4 golf speaker adaptor but you have to do a little modifying to it. Mk5 golf ones don't fit.
