unlocking problem

havnt had the car long but have noticed when i unlock the car with the key (as i havnt got a key fob just yet) the drivers door opens but non of the outhers untill i press the unlocking button in the drivers door is this normal im guessing not??

Don't know, but mine was doing a similar thing off the fob so I pulled the battery and it worked as expected after. Turned out my battery was shot. Easy to try, just make sure you have your radio code before you disconnect the battery

Press the unlock button twice then all doors will open otherwise if you only press it once only the drivers door will open It's a safety feature!

He doesn't have a fob to press buttons on

O yea duh! Well i think if you put the key in turn it all the way to lock then all the way round to unlock then all the doors should open instead of just putting they in then just turning it to unlock

Yep pull the battery on car for 5mins or so, reconnect, and will clear the problem.

Personally I believe that if it clears it that it's symptomatic of a failing battery, so prepare to have to do it again in a couple of weeks/months

Not sure on that as mine did this back in May 2009 and not done it since nor have i replaced the battery...

That's good then. When mine went a couple of people suggested the battery, and after the second time it happened in a few weeks we found the battery was almost completely dead. Replaced and no problems since
