Hi Everyone, I'm getting to the expensive stage in my cars life (60k) and the clutch could do with doing as its getting a little bit slippery when doing pretty much anything involving moderate+ accellation, the thing has deteriorated rapidly...

If anyone makes the comment "Dont use the accellerator as an on/off switch, they will be promptly slapped" :D

Can someone please shed some light in the differences between a Sachs organic and sintered paddle clutch other than the price and the slight higher load the sintered can take... Can someone share with us how it is to drive with them day to day, gear shifting comfort (jerkyness of biting point), peddle weight etc. etc.

Dont do the paddle.
That is an off on switch.
Organic is the better for road use.
That will give you a good feel on the pedal and give you a definate biting point

sarah has pretty much summed it up mate, the organic one is more OE like , but to begin with it does feel very stiff, and also like an on off witch. The sintered paddle clutch can cope with more torque and a higher temperature than the organic one, but for the mods that you have got i would advise you to go to the organic way.
 
well for staff, i got mine fo £250 delivered 2 days later from sachs race engineering in germany, but i did enquire about these before and afaik they said about £400
