Hi guys, i saw a thread a while back with the sizes of various hoses for the LCR...i now cannot find it

I've recently got hold of some thick chemical tubing which has an ID of 8mm and OD of 16mm.. i've also got 6 hose clips.

Can anyone point out good hoses to change with a bore size of 8mm?

(pic not mine)

Cheers!

N75 hoses are about 8mm, from charge pipe to N75 and N75 to actuator :)

lol i could guess:p only joking :ban:

mine feels very soft so i guess it needs changing :funk:

They are all pretty soft; they are none reinforced rubber so always will be - I'd be more worried if it was hard and brittle. I'm tempted to go and measure mine in the dark to make up for my guessing..but no!:cartman:

Searching through the catch can threads - the mushroom has 19mm fittings :)

Preferably 19mm; but if not I'd go for 18mm and heat up the ends to get it to fit if need be.

I just searched mushroom and catch can! found a number of threads all about it.

N75 hoses are about 8mm, from charge pipe to N75 and N75 to actuator :)

The N75 to actuator pipe on mine is not 8mm all the way down
It is 8mm N75 end then drops to about 5mm I/D but same O/D pipe at actuator end
To do it properly would need an inline reducer or similar
I should have taken a photo really when i removed mine
Also 8mm pipes are carbon canister ones, and from throttle body up to something (cant remember )

Ok.. apart from the piping around the N75 is there any others that use an I/D of 8mm? I've got the chemical resistant tubing but not bothered where i use it, just want to replace some of the OEM piping if i can.. how about some of the piping near the washer bottle?
