V5 lumpy running issue

Just been out and bought a V5 Toledo on a 54 plate and after a 100 mile drive the car started running lumpy and the dignostic light came on ,Should i be worried ? I've seen and read a few forums on here with simlar issues and the problem points to a INGNITIONS MODULE would that be the case for me ? can any one shed any light on my problem ..cheers look forward to your replys and help cheers

Lumpy?

Missfire maybe, could be coil packs which are pretty common as are lambda probes.

Also shaky idle is usually helped by upping the idle speed a touch. SEAT in thier wisdom allways seem to set them a little low.

Worn valves with 35,000 would that be possible ?

Either way if the light is on a fault codes is present so it should be easy to find out whats causing the issues.

Right took it in to a seat main dealer and its looking to be the lambda probes so far .. its back in trmw to get the job done lets see what the out come is .. keep ya informed...
