Yeah there is load more power - like a different car!

How would a catch can solve the issues with this pipe?

What's a 17705? Fault code?

Noticed when I was putting it all back together that my suction jet pump had gone too again midland vw sorted me out and way hey! I now have a decent idle!!! Thanks for all the help!

Which part did it turn out to be, my Leon is suffering this was 25bhp down after a remap

Grayboy - I don't have the part numbers to hand - although I recommend doing a boost / vac leak test with soapy water and be sure what ur replacing is at fault! The hose section I replaced runs from the suction jet pump to the offside of the inlet mani and then connects to the brake vac line (£73 worth of it)! Another common one is the hose going from fpr to the inlet mani too - this is hose with a braided outer!

Longy - doesn't sound good - some garages can do a smoke test, have u tried this? Sounds with it been intermittent tho to be a sensor?!

AMD did a pressure test post remap as it was down on power, I could hear it and they said it is best to replace the whole lot.

Although I will be doing it myself.

No mate that's my next thing but I'm removing the sai and pcv system at the weekend so once that's all done if the codes still there I'm getting it smoke tested

Grayboy - did you get sorted I can't fine the part number but I can ring midland vw to query it if you need me to?

4 figures doesn't sound good - my tt just failed mot on cv gaiter, ball joint, levelling sensor AND emissions! Oh well! you can't take it with you!

Should be able to sort it myself and just pay for the parts / alignment (hopefully with some verniers it'll only need checking!)

I haven't yet, if you could that would be awesome?

4 figures was all good, service, cambers, fitting of Bilstien kit and remap so drove away happy.

Although only had the clutch done 2 weeks before.
