VagTacho - Dangerous?

Hi guys,

I have been trying to get vagtacho for ages now... to code a key to the car.

basically from what i can see as i only have one key to the car (the two button remote one) i need to use Vagtacho to get my SKU code, and then code a 2nd key myself.

I have been reading all day, on here and mkivs. Basically it looks fairly simple but i have to use vagtacho 2.2 or 2.5 to get it to work...

i have also read that it can have a mental attack and kill the cluster?!?

All i want is two keys! lol

I have read the "guide" on here... but there is no definitive yes to say itll work as i only have one key..

I;ve used vagtacho a few times in the past to get the SKC, very easy to use - haven't had a problem with damaging any clusters, I haven't used vagtacho to program a key though, I have used VagCom to do the programming.
