Great guide, hoping to get some of these mods done to my car soon

What is meant by the "Air blower"?

Air blower is auto mode on the air con. When this is adaptation is done and the auto button is pressed it illuminates the lights on all the controls so you know what the auto button is doing. Rather than just illuminating the single auto button light.

Are you saying that if we have fog lights then we can easily switch on cornering? The motor must be enclosed within the fog light assembly.

In theory yes but we found that if we activated the cornering. Lights they just stayed on all the time when you had normal beam on.

We didn't have time explore where we went wrong or what went wrong.

Not having a mk3 myself unless some asks for help again I won't get to plug into one.

Are you saying that if we have fog lights then we can easily switch on cornering? The motor must be enclosed within the fog light assembly.

There are no motors . I had mine apart to change the bulb.
The normal fog beam lights up the corners the same as when the cornering lights are enabled.
All cornering does is switch on the fog briefly when turning the wheel or indicating under 20mph.

fortunately mine were already enabled when I took delivery of the car. (SE version).

Ah that's interesting . Thanks. I have a BMW with cornering function and the lights are motor driven so I wrongly assumed that that is what the LEON had too.
Appreciate you clearing that up.

Its under the steering wheel in line with the accelerator pedal and kind of where your knee would be when driving if your short like me

Cheers for the great instructions! Do these apply to any other models? I have Altea XL 2008 pre-facelift.

They would probably be far simpler on earlier models as you do most of the changes in adaptations rather than long coding. But a lot of the above seem to only be on very recent models, lap timer etc.....

Have anyone got Security Access code to ABS side? I would like to adjust XDS to strong but I´m missing access code...

We tried the Corning lights and it just ended up turning the fogs on all the time.

Double check you selected the correct options, the option names are very very similar. There's been at least 2-3 people who have done this.

Cars with LED headlights have the corning option switched off by default
