i used the wide track set up originally and after a few months it chew up the bearing casings on the inner cvs of the shafts

the strut tops are about an inch an half narrower then the mk3 golf, plus on the vr6 they have the wide track which is an inch longer and then when u use the steering rack the wheels will toe in abit even when fully wound in

as for the hubs the vr6 hubs are angled different for the bottom ball joint so u cant just bolt them to the ibiza wishbones and the vr6 ball joints wont fit the ibiza wishbones either

in the end i just used ibiza cupra shafts, wishbones, rack, uprated arb and hubs with vr6 drive flanges pressed in and re-drilled g60 discs

hope that helps

this^^^

So get the VR6 stub axle pressed into the ibiza hubs. Why redrilled g60 discs then as opposed to standard VR ones? Are the G60's bigger?

the caliper mounting points are different on the vr hubs to the gti hubs so if u use the vr6 discs they sit too far away from the caliper thats why u need to use the orginal discs for the gti/cupra/g60 hub

See now im confused LOL
On other places ive read that its just as simple as swapping the whole lot but fitting mk2 wishbones and keeping the Polo rack, and just swapping the complete rear stub axle so good job i kept checking!
