Hi everyone,

Basically i have tried to swap over my vRS wheels from the old Ibiza (1.4) onto the Cupra, and after an hour of toiling and jackin up both cars, removing wheels etc, they DONT fit!, theyjust scrape the leading edge of the caliper and no more. I thought they would fit as they are virtually the same car! Is there any way to get these to fit easily or is it a For Sale Section, highest bidder job?

And the vRS's (pristene and newly refurbed a month ago)

Apart from spacing the wheel out a few mm's, i cant see a way around this? But then how can the wheel get over an Octavias brakes if they're the same as mine?

You have 4 pot Seat sport callipers. Much bigger than Octavia vRS's that come with the same 312mm setup that's found on the Audi TT.

There are very few wheels that will fit over the Seat sport brakes.

possibly 5mm, theres about half a mil clearance on them when they're bolted up, but 0.5mms not a great margin for flex or anything!

I'd go for no more than 5/6mm spacer on the front as that starts to affect steering geometry and turning circles and all that malarky.
