Warning Beeps stopped?

why has my fr stopped making sounds for low fuel, lights on handbrake door open etc etc

any ideas

sounds to me like instrument cluster fault

The little speaker for those sounds is soldered onto the instrument cluster PCB. I would go for reseating the 2 multi plugs on the back of the cluster first. Then if that doesn't work i would remove the cluster and re-solder the 2 joints where the speaker fits onto the cluster PCB.

Do a search for info on removing the cluster/reseating the plugs, it's very easy and there are pics/guids.

LOL true say mate, scares me s**tless everytime my fuels low, I'm never prepared for it!

Is this the same speaker for both the low fuel warning and the low temp warning?

might have to look into that then yeah they used to be annoying but ive stupidly left my lights on a few times by accident so even though i should remember i dont,
