Ive had this more regularly....

It is the same symbol on the light switch...

I have had both front and rear lights changed for LHD spec units (spend all my time in germany)
think either water ingres sin new rear units or something on new (dealer part) is loose.

Will have to have a check with vagcom

Hi i Have a 2006 Leon Tdi sport 140 with this same warning light on the Rev counter display.
was there any confamation to what it is?? for what its worth all the headlamps tail lamps and so on work ok, it just can on on the way to work today.

any help apreciated before i have to pay to have a dealer plug a laptop in, which i dont realy want lol

Hi Ian I've had that light on twice now I get it because I've had hid sidelights and I also got it due to a reflector motor had to get a whole new headlight unit

Sometimes can be down the a dry connection Mike, I had it on my black Leon once and stayed on for ages but all the bulbs worked, turned out one of the connections to the brake lights was crap so cleaned it up abit

I agree it could be the connection. My bulb warning light comes on periodically for the O/S brakelight but it works fine. Must get that fixed sometime!

I had the light taken off and its back on again also left hand drive lights

The light ur on about what is it just popped up on my car

its a warning light to say you have a bulb out. with mine it was a rear side light out.
it happened again the other day and it was a brake light bulb out this time.
the light came on in the morning and went out by the time i got to work, when i checked the lights at work they were fine, on the way home it came on again and stayed on, i checked the lights and the the offside brake light was out.
so basically if there is a bulb or light issue this warning light appears.
