Warning Lights

I've currently got the engine light on and the glow plug light is flashing intermittently.

Car seems fine, pulls away OK and doesn't sound too rough. Any suggestions? I'm hoping it's just road salt tripping a sensor of or something. It's a 2010 1.6 TDI.

Under warranty still? Needs to go to a dealers.
My money is on a sensor, probably the exhaust gas pressure sensor which seems to be a common weakness

No Seat warranty - got 72k on it. Have an aftermarket warranty which will hopefully cover it.

How much would that be, worst case? Ay idea?

Nope, just those two.

Mine was doing this too - but it was going into limp mode at the same time, SEAT replaced the EGR valve. Cleaning it would probably have cured it too!

Exhaust temp sensor 3, apparently. Quite a common fault from what I can tell.
