Called up Seat UK Customer Services about it all and they said they will contact the dealer and escalate the issue if necessary as I quoted the Consumer Rights Act 2015, chapter 2, section 11, whereby the vehicle is not as described as on Autotrader it stated it was a manufacturer's approved vehicle when the dealer said it actually wasn't, after I paid a deposit.

Thanks to everyone who replied to the thread, it is much appreciated and I hope it gets resolved soon as it really is overshadowing the fact I'm picking up a Leon on Monday if all goes well!

No response from Seat UK Customer Services after calling them 4 hours before, so I called the dealer and spoke to a manager and they offered to either refund me deposit or else take the car with 3 months warranty.

I opted for the latter, not very wise in my opinion but I just want the car and I will certainly not go back to that particular dealership if I can avoid it and will leave a negative review of them misleading me, blatantly breaking the law by contravention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If I could afford it I would sue them but I don't have the money to do so, therefore the only thing I can really do is leave a negative review and not go back there again buying a car.

I've decided I'm going to buy a Seat Extended warranty at £165 a year for extra peace of mind.
