Down here headlight washers are uncommon, so it took a while to work out what the mist was coming from the front of the car when washing the screen.Doh!

I bought these (5M0955985C9B9) from here:

There's still a delay and the drivers side (UK) one takes longer than the passenger side!
And there's no washer fluid low warning light like there was on the Mk1, I keep a bottle in the boot now.
The valve idea sounds interesting.
