Its amazing how trends change. The 007 008 valves where must hsves.

Yep, was the same 8/9 years ago when my old man got his LCR, first must do mod was 007p, never reverted back since then, don't think I'd ever go back to the 007p now

Forge used to do servicing kits/springs for free which i think was a big pull back then, they could last for ever on that basis. Diaphrams will eventually perish but not as easierly/quickly as everyone thought.

I think the standard revised dump valve is better than the forge, if I wasn't goin to split my car I'd buy a Bosch one but the revised one

oem dump valve is the best one to use, good for upto 30 psi, been running standard one on my stage 1 lcr with no issues at all and with cone filter can still hear it dump just about

My split-r should be here on monday but cant test it out till i find out why the epc light on because i havent got 100% throttle responce

I would send it back mate, will only give you more problems added to the ones you have already got..
Get it scanned to find out what fault codes you have

Only way is to get it scanned first, then post up the fault codes, we can help a bit more then. Check all hoses for a boost leak, most common is the one connected to the rocker cover on the right and the pipes under the inlet manifold, just curious but when did you notice the holes in the airbox. Maybe you have dislodged something, check the connection on the maf and the n75

The Dark Side

Noticed them yesterday when i went to put my cone on but tho it will be better if i leave the airbox how it is and keep that side standard lol, and if its not raining tomorrow i will get a look at what you have mentioned, theres a guy coming sometime this week to put his code reader on so will write the fault codes down and then put them up on here, this just makes me want to sell it now :(

As said once youve got the codes it should help, hopefully its nothing that can't be easierly sorted :)

I wouldn't fit the split R until sorted as youve said as it can produce its own fault codes if not set up properly. Stick to the stock one for now.

Cool thanks mate like a say its all new to me and nothing but hassle so far lol, im used to rovers ( yeah you will laugh lol ) but hope i can get to the bottom of this as its. A nice clean car

Nice looking cupra!

Be interesting to see if its been remapped. It looks sensibly lowered rather than slammed.
Are you thinking of doing much to her?

yes mate it will as its connected to the underside of the inlet manifold you will be loosing boost after the MAP sensor has read it so the engine is getting less boost than what it thinks have a search for PCV removal/ catch can fitting
