hi - there is loads of water in the wifes rear passanger footwell - tried to see where its coming from but can't - any ideas?

coupled with the leak into the front drivers footwell from the area of the windscreen wiper linkage its a right pain this cold weather icing the inside!

NOT THIS AGAIN! there are hundreds of threads about this on here just search , thers even a guide on how to fix it somewhere

quick fix , when driving put heater and blower on max and on ya feet to dry out ya rug and have passenger window slightly open to let out the moisture.

I've just been round today doing all my door seals, been meaning to do it for ages and it was a lot easier than what I thought to do! Fingers crossed my car may be semi waterproof now!

guys ta for reply.

sorry to be asking about issue that comes up again and again - is really annoying for all you regulars.

will try the resealing inner door frame with silicon once it dries out.

btw the bloddy tdi is soooo efficient that the car don't warm up on the way into the wife's work - and trying to tell missus to open the windows is too much effort!

have to agree about poor engineering tho - my car (Evo 6 TME) has not been used for 2 months (broken clutch) but is totally dry inside.

The dealers must get seriously pissed off with fixing leaks! I reckon 1 in 2 cars leaks....

LOL u reckon! I work at skoda and with the fabia's i would say 95% come back in within the first 5 years of being sold new to have rear door seals re-sealed.

I sure hope vag manage to fix this problem on the newer models
