Open the doors and look at the plastic sill panels to see if there's any water deposits on them. If there's water on there, even just the odd drip, then it's the doors that are leaking.
I've only just read your post as I finished work at 5.
Anyways, I got into the passenger side and the drivers side carpet was very wet. The car is parked with the drivers side wheels up on the curb, so it was all collecting in the corner by the gear lever. The weird thing is I just can't work out where it's coming in. The carpet around the door plastics all seemed dry as did all the carpet up by the pedals. I took a little video on my phone so I'll try and upload that in a bit.
I did check the door plastics but they also seemed nice and dry, but it was raining so as soon as I opened the door they got covered in spots of rain. Difficult to tell.

I know how you feel, I have to get the old Goblin carpet cleaner out to suck the water out.
mine is at the passenger left rear door footwell, I have been reading all the post about door leaks So, I am too going to give it a go with the silicone. if the weather holds the next few days.

looks pretty similar to how mine was - squelchy, easy way to double check is take your door panel off & look on the inside of the panel which you take off - if there's signs of water inside, which there will be if it's coming from the doors, then you need to reseal it again! 
...you can always draw a line across your door in felt tip (not permanent, obviously) and wait for it to rain again (shouldn't be a long wait!) and the line will wash down your doors where the water is still coming in
I know how infuriating it is - I put up with putting towels in my footwell for over a year hoping that would stop it but it didn't - then I found the instructions for a fix on here & can't say how grateful I am, nearly sold my car I was getting that hacked off with it!

Yea is annoying!!! Im going to be on my second attempt to seal the doors when i get chance this week. Pretty sure that 3 of them are leaking due to water on the sills. Used the clear silicone that dries first time so going for the horrible black stuff that stays tacky this time that should do the trick. Will have to take the advise and make sure its bone dry before sealing though. Hate having to wipe all the windows in the morning before i can see anything (need windscreen wipers inside at the mo lol )

I had both of my passenger doors replaced after an ambulance decided to reverse into me. They used all the original seals on mine to so had to have the doors sealed after as they never even sealed them when they put the new doores back on. Now the rear passenger door is leaking at the top and im getting water on the back seats. When i open the door i can see water marks on the top of the inner rubber door seal, though the seat garage say the door isnt lined up correctly.

When I had my drivers door replaced I'm certainly they used the original seals too, so no wonder it started leaking. The annoying thing is I only noticed about 2 months down the line, so there's no way I could take it back to where I got the work done. Also, that was in Bath and I'm now in Brighton, so it's not exactly down the road!
Is there no way you could take it back to the place that did the work?
Out of interest, what sealant have people used? I bought some generic Focus branded outdoor silicone sealant.
I wernt to happy to tell the truth. Im in Ireland at the mo and go to afghan in a few weeks so gona take it back to the accident repair centre when i go home next week. I got seat to seal the doors the doors and they used seal cord to do the job.

My bloody passengers door is leaking in now, ive been checking all the carpets through the heavy rain and snow weve had of late, now its gone off its started leaking in. Looks like that one is going to be coming off now, oh well.
Is everyone using the black tacky silicon then folks or is there a better alternative. Just wanna check before going to get some.

Thanks to traumapat I now have the proper VAG sealing cord, much appreciated mate.
I went to fit it today but there was no sign of any water behind the door card, and the seal that we'd created a few weeks ago using silicone sealant looked all good. We decided to close the door and spray the window with the hose for a good 5 minutes. I sat inside whilst this was happening and there was no sign of any water coming in at all. We also fully soaked the windscreen to see if it was coming in from around the scuttle plate, but again nothing. Seeing as we couldn't identify any water coming in, we decided there wasn't much point in breaking the seal we'd already created.
I'm just going to keep an eye on it over the coming weeks. If there is still water coming in, then I'm going to be f**king confused as to how it's getting there!!![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
