Water temp light shows in the morning...

This has happened on and off for a while but has done it a bit more regular lately..

When getting in car in the morning the water temp light shows and, however after running it it will stay lit, but temp rises as normal. Any further trips during the day it seems fine. Is it possible that its because of colder weather??

mine does it in my ibiza mate... check the water levels and top up if necessary
