Not sure if its the best description but my 1.6 seems very weak when starting, like its only just catching when it gets up to idle and it also slow to get there. From cold it turns over up to idle slowly but seems to struggle and sometimes doesn't catch, from hot its very similar but will always catch and stay running but it sounds bl**dy awful as it does, sometimes it chugs like its going to die and shakes the car about before getting there.
The car has an (expensive!) history of starting problems which for the past 6 months seemed to have gone away, however, I dont want to be going down the route of throwing money at it again. Any ideas people?
