i work on fiat and alfas as well at a multifranchise dealer and have never changed one yet.
just a few a week on seat/vw/audi

9 times out of 10 on a fiat or alfa its down to a wiring issue not component failure
 
:blink: never once had a wiring problem with my punto, only component failure.....such as, oil pump, gearbox, head gasket, coil packs, and the occational sensor.

i'll agree fiats aren't as bad as people make out, but i'd rather stick with bosch anyday of the week.
 
talking electrical not mechanical.yer they fall to bits,blow headgaskets once a year etc etc etc
just like an ahf/asv motor on leon toledo

Maybe you should contact them and tell them your MAF nightmare.
 
ok i've just spoken to them and they said if we think there will be quite a lot of interest they would be happy to give us 20% trade discount...
