Weird paint

Hi All,

Bought some scratch paint to put down a key mark on my ibiza. It seemed to work but then i was trying to smooth it off with very fine sand paper and suddenly found that it all turned to a white colour? Its very strange because i don't think its scratches because i tried a bit of white spirit to get it off and the white stuff and it did work temporarily but then this weird white came back.

Any ideas?

might be like colour restorer which oxodizes when you leave it, get some polish then some wax on it and see if it comes back dude

Ok i will give that a go...i don't have any wax though, will lacquer do the same?

erm i don't know, i personally wouldnt use lacquer though i have to say, or white spirit on my car for that matter!
