Weitec GT suspension kit

Hey guys
i just bought a weitec suspension kit, the kit is pretty good and has made the handling much better but the drop is disappointing, as i will demonstrate...

BEFORE WEITEC GT KIT + STANDARD WHEELS

AFTER WEITEC KIT installed with standard wheels

WEITEC kit with new 18" wheels

Basically im not happy at all with the drop and im wondering if i can swap the springs but keep the shocks to lower the stance. my questions are... will new springs be compatible? also what springs should i look for that will slam the car that will go with those weitec shocks

yea they're set height, wish i went for some adjustables now

No i got the whole kit shocks and springs but im not happy with the drop so im asking if i should replace the springs and if so what springs will be compatible with the weitec shocks and give enough drop. Get it?

you dont know which kit you got do you? Was it definately the right kit as there different ones for the diesel and from what I can see the min drop is 30mm and you can buy other kits with bigger drops so you might want to talk to where ever you bought it from because it doesn't do what it says on the tin!

i got the weitec GT kit, i bought it from AmD. You could be right. i was expecting a 30mm drop but it hasn't happened. do you think they could have given me the wrong set?

If you look at link there are loads of kits on that page for the Leon so its quite possible. Might be worth checking with them and seeing what they say. But from looking at your pics there isn't actually a drop lol so somethings up!

yea there is alot of sets... they probably sold me the wrong set

Its all sorted now AmD said they would swap the springs for some weitec 50mm drop that will match the dampers.
