Small hiccup - Road tested today only made it around the block :-( - It seems we over filled it with oil (maybe around 1litre) and when I put my foot down it dumped it out the breather and into the catch can which then over flowed and blew it all over the engine - I guess I wont have to worry about anything in the engine bay rusting anytime soon.

Lucky it has a catch tank. Could have probably come out of your exhaust!

Okay so I have taken just over 1.5 litres out (yes 1.5 !!) and its still reading over full maybe 7-8mm above the top of the hashed part of the dip stick. The car is pointing uphill a tad (couple of degree's maybe). I cannot get anymore out :).

What do folks reckon ?

There's still too much in there. Id try again on a level surface.

I wish it was that easy - My garage and drive are on a steep slope so cannot jack it up as cannot get under it - My vacuum pump (only just discovered this so no longer recommend them any more) cannot get into the bottom of the sump so leaves around 2/3 litres behind.

I'll have to do it out on the road euuuch

The bay looks very trick mate. Maybe not so good with oil everywhere!
That sucks. Glad it’s all come together though.
