I used to have the foot shower with my car, sealing the doors has got rid of the water gathering. So are you absolutely sure you sealed the carrier?

yah - The inner metal carrier - I siliconed the bottom part...

Maybe I need to do it again proper. as I never took the old sticky tape stuff off.

This was what I thought it was. The actual door seals. I didn't realise there was another panel inside the door card that let water in. I'm doin mine tomorrow.

Say no more... silicone is a temporary fix at best, and chances are you didn't see some tiny hole somewhere. It's what my door carriers were covered with, and they still leaked.

It has to be absolutely watertight otherwise the water will just follow the path of least resistance.

So do I have to seal the complete panel? or just the bottom part?

...is it best to use that sticky stuff? Butyl..?
