im really half and half on the lcr splitter it does look quite good but i dont want it to fall of over a speed bump or something lol!! How secure is it mate??
its pretty secure, its been screwed on using 13 self tappers and also ive got mine clipped in using the original clip in the middle. (cut a few slots on the bottome of gti spoiler)
aaaghh decisions decisions it would make my car look uber low lol!!! May phone seat tomorrow lol!! Did you take off the gti splitter to screw it on or not?? Arent the screws coming through the gti splitter now visible or did you use some extremely small ones?
i bought a new gti spoiler aswell as my original was scabby. would be easier to pop off and line it up correctly. you dont see any self tappers as they are inside the moulded plastic of the spoiler
must be, only reason a 106 gti would be faster is if it was an 8v. 16v is one quick motor, not much from a few years ago will touch it small hatch wise
The car looks absolutelly spot on Crezz, just another proof that OEM+ works. Problem that you will face now is, what to do next??
Good effort with the chav car beating.
For the record the 0-60 off a 106 GTI is 8.4seconds whereas the 16v beeza is 7.6s.
As for the pulsar..........I'm not saying that you didn't beat him but he must not have been trying because those cars are very underrated weapons. 0-60 in 5.5s with its SR20DET 2.0 turbo engine and 4wd.
But maybe he was just a **** driver. I managed to beat a vr6 once because of a **** driver, but then again managed to get beat by a fiesta st coz of my crap driving, lol.
the pulsar is now dead, it didnt sound very healthy the day i passed it... its been replaced with what i fink was a toyota starlet? **** body kit on it....as for what next i am stumped...ive got some mk3 wheels i refurbed in white waiting to go on and also the mk3 cupra sill plate covers in white. Dont know what next. What tints did you have in yours mig?
