What a week

From the start… I got a rover 214 as a run about i.e to take me to work and back on the cold mornings and just do the A to B stuff to save the miles and stress on my ibiza so I can enjoy it more, and the Wednesday morning I came out to see someone had smashed the wing and light then driven off.

So as you can imagine I was not happy. Its going to cost £60 for the parts from a scrap yard and I’ll fit them. Then as I was in my house today a old git drove straight in to my Ibiza witch was parked on my drive !!! The car was parked straight, he moved it when he hit it.


so I’m now going through the motions of getting it fixed on his insurance, what a week. I’m meant to be doing a track day on the 9th but I cant see it being ready for then. Just thought id have a mown and let you all know that your pride and joy is not even safe on your own drive these days.

I no how you feel mate i have just had one of those months, a taxi hit my car parked outside my girlfirends and drove off then this week the local drunk 15 years olds bounced off the side of my car ripping the wing mirror off

just hope it gets better for the new year

bad week.. i can top it. trust me.

2Ks worth of damage on my car after riding a armco.. and then was nearly run off the road by some ****** in a 4x4 in the car a mate has left me..

to top it off the rear beam i was sent to put on my car to fix it is also bent and the drive shaft was the wrong one. i am begining to wonder if my car will be ready at this rate.

dont wana do the track day before the work is done i just want it sorted, and there is some plastic trim touching the wheel, and i just know id crash the car then the insurance would have a field day with me. im not the only one with a bad week.

Do the track day before you get it repaired..

It's written that if you get it repaired before then something bad will happen at the track day !!!

cheers mike but im just going to let them sort it out.
jNx - i know what your saying but id rather get it sorted and make sure everthing is how it should be before i thrash it round a track, what if the bumper falls off on the track and herts some one etc etc

some bugger did that to me on my astra, n tried to get away! luckily i took his number plate and finally squeezed some cash outta him before takin it up further with the old bill! again that was some old bint!

Update....
Got the rover sorted, £33 for the wing, light, indicator and trim then took me hour and a half to fit so happy with that considering and it was already the same color. The car looks like new again.
The ibiza is still in the body shop waiting a new rear bumper. It only had a small crack on the under side and the bit that holds the arch liner was loose. They have pulled the dent out and fillerd/sanded it, looks really good so far.
