What are these bolts for?

Hi, can anyone solve a riddle, I have just bought a second hand armrest and the mount part that bolt under tunnel has two bolts sticking out, they dont get in the way but it is buggin me what they are for? Any ideas?

Are they threaded .... I've no idea tbh - look like they might be to secure the tunnel section, but you'd have to be able to take that plate bit off and push it through from the back

Yes they are threaded and sit inside upper plastic part of armrest without geting in the way! the metal plate they are on is not hand made so oem, just one of those silly things that bugs you!!!

not on mine and ive never seen a mount with them on before
