What Colour?

I have speed blue and ive still never seen another one on the road yet, i know there are a couple on here though.. However i think think speed blue with black wheels look terrible, just doesnt compliment the blue at all. Yellow with black looks

Do you think White is a difficult colour when it comes to resale?

Theres been a handful of amazing looking (White) K1's posted in threads recently, with Black wheels.

The BTCC bodykit, infact the lines of the Mk2, seem to show better on those lighter colours - the White and Silvers.

But saying that, the Mk2 Leons look great in all colours!

White is a doddle to sell on. I flogged mine to a dealer for 2k over trade price due to the colour alone. I do agree that the popularity might fade over time. Black is a waste of a k1 kit. You can't see any of the aggressive vents etc...
For k1 it has to be a screaming colour e.g. orange, white, speed blue. People who buy k1s want to be noticed and a loud colour will compliment their extroverted personalities

id been saving for ml leon fr since last summer, i finally ordered it in jan but in the few months while i was saving i kept changing my mind between black red and white, i thought i wanted white again the day i went to order and then when he asked me what colour i said black and didnt even realise, i guess in your head somewhere u will already know what colour you want

yeah its deffo black i had to check the order form lol, yeah i started saving in august last year arter i took one for test drive, i stopped spending money on just about everything i could and did few odd jobs for cash on top of my normal work.

pleased its in UK now and seat cant put the date back any more, now just playin the waiting game to pick her up

Have you been given an opportunity to have a quick look over the car, now its sat on UK tarmac?

The waiting must be hard lol. The day you collect it and drive it off down the road will be very memorable.

no havent been given anything, my dealer is on hol till monday (dont know how he dare like lol) so ill not hear anything till he gets back, im hoping to go over on tuesday to sort reg and have a look over but i guess ill know more when he comes back from his hol. yeah the waiting is killin me ive been given 3 due dates first one was for second week of march so was gutted when that one past then i was given the 26th of march and she finally arrived on the 15th which was the 3rd date.
I think ill be more nervous than when i went for my driving test lol and prob stall at every junction on the way home lol

Hmmm, it does get very frustrating when the due dates change like this!
Especially considering its been 3 or more months since your Order was first placed.

Well hopefully pace will quicken, and once the dealer finally returns from Hols (surprised noone else there could have kept progress moving in the meantime), then you should start to see things happen! Not the first instance I've read about dealer dates being put back... then back some more.

....dont worry, after a few hours of driving, you will soon be tearing up the tarmac, as you get a feel for the potential and power that your shiny new FR will have to offer !

I ended up going for the red! Black alloys, black mirrors, red calipers.. I cant wait to go and pick it up now! I think i would of gone for the speed blue otherwise, iv actually only seen one and it did look fantastic, but i just had to have red..
