What did you and your MK2 do today?

Newly painted black FR550 alloys fitted replacing standard 18" FR alloys.

Got the car back from the specialist today who had stripped my gearbox, re-shimmed my diff and realigned my engine all for free. Even got 2days courtesy car for free too!
Everything was fine and is now nice and quiet again so its happy days all round!

Some guy who had an FR ripped them out and sold them on ebay and as he was close i went to pick them up. They were on ebay for a few days before I decided to buy them

My cover was £140 but expired while I was in Germany. Wouldn't re new it for the SW price and told me there was no such thing as forces discount although the sales guy showed me te discount when I took out the policy... Swines

If you need it mate that have you by the 's and you just have to pay. At least you got yourself sorted.

Ha, that's exactly what my mate said too! The specialist dude is a perfectionist and as he fitted the diff, he wasn't totally happy with how loud it was so offered to do it all for me! As you can imagine, I was very happy!

ordered my Eibachs from Awesome and booked into P-Torque for the 23rd for a stage 1 map

not bad staying standard for 6 months barring some scuff covers for the inner door sills

Found a screw in the centre of the tyre so went and got that removed and had the tyre repaired. Had all the wheels re-balanced (again!!). UK roads are abysmal...
