What did you and your MK2 do today?

Hardly anything just got to know what to do! Earth is easy finding the sidelight wire in the fuse box loom and a 12v feed the rest just gets plugged in the hidden.
Went to blackhorse cars and saw some nice 2.0l TFSI and TDi A5's well within my budget. Soo tempted lol
Got to get the sideskirts on though as I am already in the process of having them painted. But its the last step. Was offered around £3000 for p/x but thats just on paper without them looking at mine. Allow p/x lol
The A5's are lovely cars, the 3.0 tdi are beautiful engines too! ive only driven an auto, but man it was a stunner!
i would like my next car to be an S5 mind! my other halfs uncle has one, Oh my!
The 3.0l would be expensive for me to run same with the S5 but boy would they be great to own. Think a 2.0l will be efficient enough for my needs
Does anyone know if all dealers do 24hr test drives? Want to take a cupra out for more than just a 10min drive. It's agnews if that makes any difference.
I have heard of 24hr but dont remember which car make it was, think it was a french car or vauxhall not fully sure.

Hmmm.... Sister got an rx8 when they were first out but she was super close to buying it already. What you reckon my chances are of getting it even fora couple of hours, I want to see how fast it is compared to my fr TDI as I super want one!
They will want a deal agreed. And if you like the car you WILL buy it. If you want a test drive 'to see what it's like' then no chance of having more than their standard 10-15 minute test drive!

I agree, but why would the dealer waste time letting you take out a car that you have no intention of purchasing?
they're gonna tell you to go find what you do want and test drive that!
There are a few manufacturers who allow for extended test drives, Citroen offered a 48 hour test drive on the DS4 and my brother took out an Astra about 3 years ago when they had their weekend test drive offer. Picked it up on friday, took it up to the lakes and dropped it back off on Sunday, he never was interested in buying one. They had you sign a bond before you took it and the excess on the insurance was around 5 thousand pounds too if I remember correctly....
