My remote fob has decided to make it self not work with my car, anyone experienced this before?
Looking for a way to do it without VCDS preferably.
There's still battery life in it, the l.e.d works lol

Wish I was lol

It's splined at the other side. We tried but it kept slipping. It they had a bolt shaped piece in stead of round in the middle you could of got a spanner on it and stop it turning. We had to get some grips on it, they where ridiculously tight on it and it eventually gripped.

Yeah we tried grips but when it's not up on ramps it makes it a lot more difficult to get at. Had them as tight as we possibly could, and my old man is pretty bloody strong, still no joy.

Might get a quote for the work and make it someone else's problem ;)

Yeah I could imagine it would be a ballache on the drive. Our techie changed me £50. Took about two and half hours for all four.

This happened to me as well the light was still working as well. Changed the battery to the sure first and it fixed it.

Cheers everyone, I'll give it a go getting sick of having to manually unlock then dive in to get the keys in the ignition before the alarm goes off lol
