U checked/changed DV/pcv valve/hoses etc?????
Does it feel like its losing boost or just sound like it is?
Check your intercooler hose connections drivers side from turbo discharge pipe , common area where the square section o rings let go , if you see oil around the joints a sure tale take sign you have a leak , replacements are a couple of £ from Dave at sere motors.
Should take about 45 mins to change , changed mine twice since I have had my car.
No, a few people on here have been using them for a few years without problems.
There is a valve at the rear of the engine that releases the crank pressure and the engine will burn off any crap that would of circulated through the pcv back into the intake manifold.
I've just had a go at fitting my ALK but could I what get the standard bushes off the wishbones.
Anybody got any ideas?
I think I'm going to have to book my car in with somebody to fit them, and they might as well fit my adjustable ball joints while I'm there.

Yeah I know, I've emailed a few people that do a fast road alignment. After hours, actually more like days of internet searching I found a place that's not to far from me that I read does a fast road alignment.

Looked at an 04 audi a3 2.0tdi DSG with all the toys, looks pretty smart. Would allow enough money for a second car whilst not giving up massive amounts from what I have now!
My main issue is trying to keep mine in good condition while doing the mileage I do (22k in the last 12 months) is near on impossible and it's doing my head in! Just dent after stone chip after scrape. So much to sort on it, but it'll never be perfect
Yeah but you will get that in any car you buy pal. It's the **** with doing high mileage.

Oh yeah, but with an old car I won't care
plus I'll have my second car which will be kept in pristine condition and only come out on good days!
