What did you and your MK2 do today?

Don't get me wrong ;I'm not a boy racer but I decided to give it some today .Car on 1400 miles and had a new beemer estate behind ,probably a 3 series but didn't know model .Out of Dover, for any that know it, up jubilee way from Dover Docks .No traffic about which was another reason I went for it . I moved over to left lane and he stayed in right giving it some . I planted it in 3rd gear ,and off we went ..Cut a story short, towards the top of the hill he was about 50 yards behind , he had been trying hard and don't think he liked it much . Got upto silly speeds, I know it's a bit crazy ,but then I wouldn't have done if traffic was busy 
Mind you when i got home the trip reading stated 19.5 mpg !!
The car does shift ,it was the 1st proper blast through the gears I've given it so far

Wait till it gets a few thousand on it mate it changes totally for the better.

I bet the BMW driver was gutted. I love it when they get a good thrashing from a car they think they're better than!

Washed, waxed and hoovered so looking all sparkling again. Found a slight dent in the front wing which I'm not happy about. That's two courtesy of knobheads in Tesco car parks.
Well was present at the Scottish VAG rolling road day at Extreme Motorsports in whitburn.
All standard cars made standard power etc and was a good day
Got the LCR on the rollers with REVO's new stage 1 software that will be released shortly.
Here are the results
Really happy with the results. To put in context my mates EP3 type R with induction kit made 203 bhp and another friend with his 206 gti 180 made 178 bhp

think it looks to big personally btw my lad now has a vinyl cutter plotter so can do this sort of thing
Too big tbh, and would rather go for some stainless steel ones which should be in the process next week in getting manufactured if all goes well
Today I washed my engine and shined the plastic.
Steamed inside plus mats.
Waxed outside and took off my wheels to give them a good clean.
Power washed underneath.
Then went down to kfc for a FAT FREE supercharger meal

I like the sills and the cupra but it is the K1 which is doing my head in already!! lol
