That'd what I was thinking of. I think any hiding of the badge is a bit naff anyway.

No mate. I have loads of gloss black wrap so would try it before I took it to somebody.

Problem is there's some meaty speed bumps here and even just lowered on eibach's it sometimes catches so don't want want a splitter to get knackered easily.

Ah right, I've thought about getting some black vinyl and giving it a go myself.
Yeh that was my only worry, would have to plan a route everytime I went anywhere lol

The R is on sportlines and has splitter. Tried on a few bumps and there's actually plenty of room.

The dpf is there si it passed the visual inspection, but we could see it's been off, and there's a seam from welding. When I bought the car, the salesman thought it had been done, but he wasn't really sure what he was on about. Other evidence includes a wee bit more smoke than normal, and the fact it keeps up with things it shouldn't be able to in standard form.

And even if the dpf wasn't there it would've passed, the guy's a mate that owes me a coupla favours.

So how much of a difference in bhp and performance do you get from just the dpf delete?

Being honest mate, I'm not an expert, there's plenty guys on here that know better than me. From what I can gather, you can have a delete with no power increase, just stops the ecu going into regen mode, but a lot of guys on here talk about a map taking it up over 200bhp.

I've got into it with some pretty quick cars, and they couldn't shake me, so I'm guessing mine's has been mapped. Need to get it on a dyno to confirm though.

But like I said, I'm no expert, there'll probably be a few guys completely rubbish everything I've just said.

Ah right yeh I know that in conjunction with a remap you can get it upto 208bhp. But just thought that you had seen an increase in performance coz you only sayed about a dpf removal and still managed to keep up with other cars lol
