Travelled to BCS to get a new cat back on my FR TDI. Worth every penny! Nice subtle burble, quiet enough on the motorway and engine pick up seems to have improved as well.
Great guys there and excellent quality

Haven't had a chance to take any photos. £520 fitted. A lot I know but better fit than the miltek ones I've seen and standard one is around £400 without fitting.
i know people say a cat back makes little to no difference but it has on my car, revs so much better

Bcs downpipe and sports cat fitted to mine yesterday. Definite performance increase and adds a nice burble - not much louder than stock which I like. Cat back next so I have the full system.
Also, flyeyes for the rear

I didn't expect any real difference as I've got a diesel. Didn't want a straight through as I've got kids and do a lot of motorway miles. really pleased with it though even had a blast around the lakes on the way back !

the only thing I don't like about my FR TDI is the lack of exhaust note. Comming from a Subaru Impreza you can imagine how much it annoys me!
Is a full stainless system worth doing in that case ? Is it possible to make a diesel sound nice and sporty ?

Found a massive bulge in the sidewall of my front tyre, so replaced them with two new Pilot Super Sports.

Whats better Pilot Super Sport or Pilot Sport 2 N3?

Now going to wash my car after waking up this morning with a massive bird crap all over the bonnet and windscreen

I think the super sport are the 'better' tyre. I think Porsche use the N3 and I read owners say they'll stick with them until there warranty is up then go to the super sport ( if I've read that right of course)

The car originally had N3 on the front when I bought it, but one developed a major bulge on the side wall. From looking on the internet it was a mixed bag of information and opinions on which tyres are the better overall tyre. Read that the super sport is the next generation tyre that replaces the PS2 and is meant to be better or same in all aspects.

But when I came to buying the tyres noticed PS2 N3 are quite abit more money than the Pilot Super Sport. And using the basic logic that dearer must be better makes me think the super sport must be not as capable. And being as my Cupra is running at 368 bhp I want the best as possible to get the power down.

The initial impression arent that great but have been told there is a 100 mile bedding in phase. I will admit they are getting better the more I use them.

Nice, did that replace the standard intercooler?
