Yeah mate, I have been quite busy as I am working in Bavaria now. So haven't had chance to do much. But hopefully as I am getting paid more the mods will come thick as fast. Remap isn't gonna happen till end of year want my engine mounts and lowering and what not first

What was the procedure you went through as I am looking at doing the same? Did you use the Hammerite paint?

Front calipers removed, two bolts and a spring...piss easy.

Calipers cleaned with wire brush and brake cleaner aerosol.

Springs cleaned with Scotchpad/ brake cleaner then 3 coats of clear lacquer.

2 light coats of acid etch primer, 10 mins between coats.

2 coats of brush on acrylic paint made up by a paint shop supply outlet, each coat touch dry in 10 mins, recoatable in 30 mins (it was 25°C).

2 coats of clear lacquer.

Reassemble calipers and replace wheel.

Rear calipers done insitu as they are much easier to clean/ mask off/ paint.

Stand back and admire the new look lol.

Here's some crap phone pictures:-
