tried that i asked how many posts needed to sell items them mod replied and said dont have relevent car so cant just sign up to sell stuff so told me to piss off cant just sign up to sell parts

so i replied just thought someone on here would like a bargain and thread got deleted lol


really need for sale section on here would make life so much easier lol

But if you stacked it woukdnt they check the speed per revs of the car ?? Of course there gonna say that they want a sale right. Just be carefull as don't wanna be letting a public forum know you rolling around with no insurance.

firslty i converted all the interior lights to white led's gives the cabin such a crisp fresh look,

secondly my drl lights arrived

now these wont be everyones cup of tea but stuff it haha

these are the lamps

i decided they looked a bit chav so gave them a ghosting of black to add to the stealth look, and then fitted them to the btcc grilles

Thats crap matey, I did think that when I first answered your question!

Of course Corten will be telling you that. If you had a serious accident (heaven forbid) then insurance companies DO use specialists to check out the car and a software remap is very easily detectable = serious world of shite and uninsured.

It's pretty naughty of them to lie to you like that but as already mentioned they're a business so just want a sale.

It's worth working out exactly what you now want to get done to your motor and saving for it all in one go. Renew your insurance with a mod friendly company when it's due and enjoy an awesome car!

We do have a relevant car matey, I've been an active member on there for year's!

What they're saying is they don't want people signing up just to sell stuff. This is probably due to the recent spate of scammers attempting to rip off people via the For Sale section!

Haha, sorry matey. There used to be a for sale section on here but people abused it etc so it was removed for ease and protection of the Forum members.

The problem is if I sell u something and rip u off with it being broke or fake or not what I described it to be then u would natrauly contact the mods and ask them to sort it out. It's a lot of hassle policing it all and once upon a time there was a for sale section on here but I think it just became too much for them. EBay or another forum is ur best bet

Question.

Before I discovered I had to fork out for dent repairs, I had been toying with the idea of having my original 17" alloys refurbed. A couple have kerb marks on them, caused by the previous female owner. As well as the refurb I was also considering a color change for the alloys.

I'm thinking of going anthracite alloys & having the mirror caps and chrome grill surround sprayed anthracite to match.

If you change the colour of the original alloys is that classed as a modification by the insurance companies?

Or could you argue that the car was supplied with the wheels in that colour? As technically you havnt put aftermarket parts on it?

Im failry certain the colour of the wheels has no effect. Changing the wheel size possibly.
