What did you and your MK2 do today?

I changed from the D to G last week and noticed a difference straight away, especially to fuel consumption in the lower gears. The Rev D looked perfectly healthy still but must've been less efficient by design.

Just wrapped one of my b pillars gloss black. Not sure if I should do the other or just take it off not sold by how it looks.

Better off getting the pillars from Dave @ Sere.
The vinyl takes on the texture from the pillar covers, which looks a bit off.
I did the same thing on our last FR and took it off 10 minutes later

Exactly. I think it's the conclusion most of us, who have tried this, have come to.

Having said that, some back to black of that GTechniq C4 on it makes a world of difference. It looks quite nice actually.

Good idea, I've got some back to black stuff about somewhere might give it a go.

All treated with back to black didn't realise how much difference there was until I put the photos next to each other. As the B pillars were off the car I decided to do them separately, made a massive difference in colour. Cars looks better for it, and certainly better than it did wrapped!

Great success!! Looks miles better.
So just a case of keeping the back to black topped up. Little wipe from time to time.

Hi all, well today I spent a small fortune on a new turbo and a rear wheel bearing for my Mk2 pd140 and have been told I need a new gearbox and the other rear wheel bearing doing. I think that will have to wait a while
