I don't see why they released a 4WD version of the shitty estate Leon, but not on their sports model? Seems retarded!! I would get one if it was 4WD, kind of pointless having 300-400bhp in a front wheel drive car too much power through the front wheels

Probably some agreement within the VAG group so it's not taking sales from the S3 or Golf R

The Cupra is supposed to be a sweeter drive than the 4wd Golf R from what I have seen. It may have a traction advantage, but the XDF and lighter weight seemed to make a difference. The top golfs have never been regarded as highly as the GTI of the same era. I see the R as a GT car really, which is stupid because it is a hatchback....

I thought that was pretty cheap lol.

Went to ATS earlier to drop of the wife's cars for MOT (which it passed) and he tried to match the price, but he said even with his staff discount he couldn't get close to the price I paid.

I remember WeeG paying £250 a corner for the same tyres!!!! Nutter lol

Yeah I suppose it's just expensive because I could get four Goodyears for what you paid lol.

Yeah £250 are ridiculous the seller must have been laughing.

Aye, there are 2 things on a car that should be looked after the best... the tyres and the brakes. These 2 items determine weather you live or die every time you have a ride out.

Yeah can't see that being for the 19's, I did plenty of shopping around and that was pretty much as cheap as they are anywhere.

Yeah that's where I bought them from first time around, but you have to add delivery too, by the time I'd done that and got them delivered and sorted fitting there wasn't much difference so just got them.

Also the ones I get linked to have a lower noise rating than the ones you've got there and are £4 each dearer.

Fair enough, delivery was £8 I think for mine.

Yeah was £8, tires were £270 for the pair then £8 for delivery then needed somewhere to fit them and the only place that's any good round here that I can trust not to butcher my wheels charges about £20 to fit them.

So all in £312 was not far off the mark considering I just got it all from the same place locally.
