After the success of my custom startup screen a few days ago..
I sorted out a custom background tonight. Just kept it simple with a metal plate effect courtesy of google.

Got smashed into by a foreign lorry driver from Sweden today, it was my right of way and he hit the back left side of my car above my wheel, and has caved in my wheel arch and scraped along the back of the car, gutted to say the least, and fuming as he was saying "your fault" in broken English. He was rather lucky I didn't break his teeth, as he was being difficult and giving no information when I asked for his insurance, so I called the police and let them take all his information. Pissed

Fu*k sake....sorry to hear that mate. Foreign lorry drivers are a nightmare on the road. They just don't give a sh!t. Hopefully you get it sorted soon
Thanks buddy, it's so annoying! They should have to have british insurance to drive on our roads whether it's day insurance or a years insurance, otherwise we are the ones left with the problem
Hope you get it sorted asap. Pi55es me right off all the hoops we have to jump through to drive in Europe ( headlamp deflectors. GB plates, spare bulb kits, fire extinguisher's, first aid kits, hi viz etc etc) and it appears any else can get away without doing anything. How often do you see lhd vehicles coming off ferries without headlamp deflectors?

Ive always been concerned by foreign lorries and the crazy mofos driving them.
They seem to have about as much regulation and respect to road rules as flaming cyclists, except they are driving HGVs that a lot of the time dont even seem roadworthy. The state of some you see on the roads is scandalous when you look at how car and respectable haulage companies are scrutinised.
I was coming round a roundabout one night to be greeted head on by a foreign lorry which had decided to take a right turn. He was busy trying to reverse it back around the exit. Was a bit hairy but could have been worse.
I mean the curbs on that exit even guide you left pretty sharply, so he had probably been pulling 36hr shift or something.

Gearbox removed yesterday to have 4th gear synchro replaced and new flywheel purchased to be fitted when its all put back together. Expensive day for me lol.
The front of his lorry was absolutely battered and was missing a front bumper!! Just really pisses me off that we have to pay these ridiculous insurance premiums for these ***** to come over and have no consequences for their actions! I took all his company details as they're based in Sweden!
