Mk2 is taking me and m'laddo for Sunday dinner today, as the GF has a stinking hangover (hahahaha 
) and the thought of cooking a pork joint is making her go green she's not planning on joining us either so will be a quiet, choose where we want to go type meal

Just paid my car tax, £265 for a year.. Thanks Mr Tax man, so not only have you taken £1500 off my bonus this month a further £265 just for putting out co2 like every human does breathing.. Fantastic

Went to asda to do the shopping and came back out to a big scrape the full length of the back door and on past the fuel flap and security can't give me any information from the CCTV because of data protection.

This is my biggest hate in life why car,nt people take care of other peoples things and for the security bloody jobs worth plokers
Offer them £50, I'm sure you could wangle yourself a copy of the footage, it may save you £100's
All security could tell me was that there was only 1 car parked beside mine when I was in the shop,they could not even tell me if it was a man or woman.he said if I get my insurance company to contact them they will give them the video but it would not be worth the hassle going to insurance for what £150 would fix.

they can if you get the police involved as its criminal damage or driving away from the scene.

So me and the motor went to my dads to sort his mk3 FR. Some how unknown to him it looks like the car has specs of white paint all over the car (bare in mind his is black) and I mean all over the car.
As you can see if was all over the windows, roof bonnet everywhere.
Tried tardis see if that would shift it but to no avail so went to halfords and bought 2 clay mitts after reading good reviews of detailing world and started.
Sounded like sand paper across the paint was awful. Went round the whole car and had to go over it all again with a clay bar as it didn't get rid of all the spots.
It also destroyed one clay mitt, just shows how bad it was.
It's 99% better than it was but there are a few specs which still won't shift.

He said not. Him and the mrs don't have a clue. He though it was dust one day so washed it and didn't come off.
I can't shift of on the plastics really but that paints come out okay in the end. I usually like cleaning cars but hated doing this.

Good job though in shifting most of it. A little worrying not knowing what or where it came from. Mine had little white specks all over the front. I thought it was stone chips but clay removed it.

Try a tiny bit of bar keepers friend on the plastic with a damp microfibre. test on discreet area first though, especially if its painted plastic. it shifts most stuff
