What's happened?
I'd say its more fiddly than hard, you cant really go wrong with connecting it all up, the hardest bit for me was finding suitable places to pack away the ballasts and wiring.
Pretty sure I have a valve spring gone, got valve tap going on, got everything but the head off so far, all turbo disconnected etc. Just doesn't seem to want to come and I don't want to be too heavy handed. Taking a gently does it approach atm...
wondered if I'm missing something...
How did you get it not to interfere with the radio?

On the o/s I stuck the ballast in the little opening next to bulb cover then cable tied the rest of the wiring on the black bottle, and on the n/s I pushed the ballast and wiring in the little opening again then supported the wiring by cable tieing it to anything above, I just made sure it wasn't close to the battery or fuse box or touching anything metal.

Hey guys I've searched on our car starters.
Im not finding much of anything.
Ive noticed and even other people have been commenting on how my car starts.
I have a MK2 Petrol FR, and when I start my car there is like a strange clunk.
when I start the car with the clutch pressed the car starts up pretty much better without the clunk.
I Just had the clutch kit replaced along with a brand new DMF all from LUK.
Has anyone else here heard of a similar issue ? its driving me nuts lol.

Not sure if it's related , but I get a clunk on my deisel Fr when I turn the engine off ? Never bothered me enough to find out what it is.
The TFSI isn't the nicest sounding engine. Get a video up of the noise it's making if you're concerned

On a separate note, decided to try and finish off my clutch as it's being replaced tomorrow night. Slightly downhill (very slightly) but it was the only suitable local road. Not sure how accurate this app is

Received my brackets (£5) to do the bonnet strut mod. Should have the M8 ball studs and Audi A3 strut here by Friday.

I dont get it when i Turn it off, only on.
But even this morning when I turn it on with the clutch in, i don't get that hideous sound.
Yes, i've heard that the TFSI is very noisy, it sucks.
Im sure it is not the clutch or flywheel because these are brand new.
Im going to try to post a video up on this.
