What did you and your MK2 do today?

Got the car back from the garage only to find it was making a metal on metal scraping sound on the drive home. Had a look under neath to see if anything was hanging down or if the mechanic had left a nice snap on ratchet on the car, no luck there.
Checked the brakes next only to find some of my wheel weights had fallen off and I'm guessing got stuck between the heat shield and disc!

How much was the clutch and DMF?

£890 for the clutch and DMF and then £250 to fit so not cheap but will last a long while. Kept my old DMF and there doesn't look that much wrong with it. Even if I weigh it in its another tenner to reduce cost lol

£89 + vat for the service as well and £35 for the cam follower.

Indeed I did.

With getting new tyres fitted at the same time it knocks 40 quid off that I otherwise would have paid for fitting. So essentially 150 quid for all 4 to be refurbed

I picked my car up from having my first proper mods done today.

Really pleased with the result.

Took mine and our little family to the Sunderland airshow, well my mums front garden BBQ and view of the bay, didn't seem as busy in the sky as last years . And the weather wasn't great
