What did you and your MK2 do today?

S6. Done the job last night, but silly me ordered a 'genuine' camera from ebay that is utter garbage and had a blurred spot in all images that it takes, didnt think to check until i had reassembled it. Livid. (No it isn't a smudge - I've checked)

Ordered a genuine used item removed from a phone instead. Expect the job to be a lot easier to do second time round after which i'll be returning the ebay garbage for a refund.

Its quite common for new phone cameras to have a screen protector on when replacing with a new part, I have had similar in the past and just left it in as i couldnt be bothered to try another and about 6 months later i noticed the protector was hanging off lol took great pictures after lol.

Had my decat downpipe fitted today, cars already Revo stage 1 and just fitting that has made it feel a lot quicker already the standard downpipe bore looks so tiny

The only problem I have now is I had a silencer fitted at the same time but it's too small I think, going to go back and see if they will change it to something bigger

Cheers guys. Only had to cut a few inches off the end. Took a bit longer to fit than I had planned as I secured it with a number of small self tappers in addition to the 3M tape. For the money you can't beat it

Pick it up tomorrow, look forward to fitting it

'Attempted' to change the rear drop links and disks and pads on the FR. However, due to not having a stubby M14 multi spline male socket (too late to beg, borrow or steal by the time I needed it) and the drop links sticking a big two fingers up at me the end result of an afternoons work was one drop link changed and a quick car wash.

I happened to notice whilst under there both rear dampers leaking and an exhaust bracket has snapped off!

One of those days.....................

Fitted my Polar Fis Advanced today and had a bit of a play,

Fitted the TRC front splitter on my Facelift Cupra over the weekend. Not too shabby. Had to take the front bumper off though in order to get the bolts in properly. No bother though, bumper came off and went back on without any issues.
