I just got a pack of 25 screws and a pack of 25 of these washer to bite into the rubber and place them every 100mm. Didbt put any in middle as didbt want to pop through bumper. Tape was pretty strong but just wanted to be sure.

How long!? :rofl:The ones I used were about 1/3 the length of those!

There the sane size as oe trim panel screws, if it ok for manufacturer to use them I don't see what your all rolling about the floor laughing for the small screws probz won't be there this time next year

You know you're going through the bumper plastic yeah? So at most, a quarter of that screw will be 'in' the plastic and the rest will be through and out the other side - making them much longer than needed?

FYI this isn't an OE trim panel. Don't get me wrong they will do the job fine but they're just overkill - especially as they are there to secure a thin strip of rubber on the off chance that the tape fails

And no Dan, didn't pre-drill.... when you use normal sized screws they go in easy enough by hand without needing a pilot hole

Fitted some Heko Wind Deflectors in the rain. It was extremely easy. The hardest bit was getting the plastic paper stuff off the adhesive sections!

Spring clean,

Tell me,do you bleed

The weather halted play for a bit, I managed to get the Nanolex glaze/wax on, buffed n left for over an hour before applying a layer of Fusso dark light

Had oil and filter change, brake fluid change and MOT at Dave Cooks. Even got a stamp wey hey. Full geometry needed next week.

Going to DIY the rest of the service and coolant flush.

Had cambelt, water pump and front H&R springs fitted today along with new drop links and strut tops.

I'll put the rear springs on tomorrow after work. Cars nose down at the moment lol

Gave up looking for true, reliable error-free sidelights and fitted some resistors to the wiring - No more fiddling with voltages through VCDS - they work as they should without errors :) Bloody awkward getting to the wiring with everything still in place though

That's what I ended up doing with mine, I'm using the cob led ones and fitted resistors to the wires as they would turn off after 4 seconds.
