Exactly, it’s only 4 years old so I don’t think there’s any need to change it anyway! We said when we got it we would keep it till it’s done 200k. But no no needs a Audi now for some random reason! The A3 is lower power, less spec but more money. Work that one out

That’s the thing with Audi...base car x amount of pounds then you have to spend a fortune on the extras. I bet you could of got a top of the range 2018/19 fr/ Cupra.with lots of power for the same price as the Audi.

Likely his workmates who have paid over the odds for their 'premium' brand German car
are telling him that an Audi will be on another level to a not-good-enough SEAT.

Mostly wrong of course, unless things like dashboard design, thicker carpets and 'chrome'
accents mean the world to you, but brand image is a strong pull for many punters, which
is why VAG and others constantly spend a small fortune and a lot of effort in cultivating it.

Finished putting my Audi RS3 Brake ducts on the car today and gave the suspension and wheels a bit of a clean.

Getting this nasty bleep replaced. Not a good way to start a 5.5 hour journey at 5am! :-/

I have not had this personally but check with your insurance company.
Last time I saw this the windscreen replacement is covered and does not impact your NCB.
However re calibrating the sensors (IF ITS NEEDED) in your windscreen is not covered and does impact your NCB.

That is odd as on my car there is a reasonable gap between the caliper and the plastic ducts but maybe the smaller ones are fatter.

Do the R and Cupra share same brake setup

Golf R? I believe so, as do the GTi Performance Pack. Maybe it’s the normal GTi with the smaller brakes.

Yep would just be an excess to pay and I’d keep my no claims, but I’d still have to declare it as a claim for the next 5 years.
