This morning I received a notification from the Polish equivalent of eBay about new results in my saved searches. I had just gotten out of bed and was still half asleep, but as soon as I saw a listing titled "LISTWA PROGOWA PRÓG PRAWA + LEWA KPL" (roughly translates to SILL STRIP RIGHT + LEFT SET) for 500 PLN (~€120), it woke me up better than an espresso. Brand-new Aero package side sill trims (5F0071610) complete with all mounting clips. The seller described them as “old stock” so we will see. I can’t wait for them to arrive!

I had my track tyres fitted to spare set of wheels (old rubber worn out) for £18-00 a wheel including new valves and balancing which I did not think was to bad.

Hello guys. I would appreciate If anyone can help with aluminium subframe swap.
What bolts should I need? (part number, quantity)
TIA

If you're using the original/OEM arms and existing hardware/mounts, you'll need
2 x WHT006844 (washers) OR a deadset/alignment collar kit
4 x N10785401 (longer subframe bolts)
4 x N91231201 (longer subframe bracket bolts)
Plus the alloy subframe 3Q0199369E

I didn’t go the deadset route as I didn’t want to lose alignment via subframe position, and I’m not adding control arms with adjustable camber etc - otherwise you lose all ability to align anything as the subframe is locked tight. The washers are required for clearance

THANKS!

Have you completed the retrofit? You see big difference?

Also, what's the difference between G & E part number?

Not yet - it’s booked in for a couple of weeks time (price of wanting somewhere reputable to do it, they’re super busy!)

G is the older part, afaik 3Q0199369E is the newest revision part - I couldn’t tell you what changed between them though!

Roll cage in now, hopefully all the work will be complete by Saturday and then I am off to Anglesey for an enjoyable track day with the family.
