Where would the hose on the engine 1.5 DADA
Looked at service manual but still nt clear what pipe I should be looking at.

Should be on each side of the radiator. I think the feed hose is on the right (if you sit in the car) and the exit hose is on the left (again, when you sit in the car) right in front of the airbox.

Today I went and got a quote for a front bumper respray and was happily surprised by the cost. Will be getting it done in the spring I think. £450 for full removal, full prep and spray.

Today I manufactured ambient lighting for the 12V socket, of course controllable via the MIB.

Will try locate tomorrow after work, car should be all warmed up. Need to find my little IR gun too.

Heat issues part 101

I think I may have a heater matrix issue? Noticed for a while sometimes I’ll be sweating in my car and the temps only set to 22c. Asked a friend who was a passenger and they agreed it’s defo hotter than 22c

I checked vent temperature for right and left reporting 44c+ sometimes via obd11 and also used an infrared gun.

Somethings not right.

Think this weekend is going to be a diagnostics weekend then back to dealer with a load of screenshots and data

Still need to check coolant radiator pipe for flow too

Took on a pothole and lost! Instant sidewall kill on the front right tyre

Week later I’ve got creaking on full lock, got under the car and turns out the front right lower control arm is slightly bent at the bush.

I've ordered a LEMFÖRDER front right control arm and ball joint to sort it.

Quick question for those who’ve done these on MQB cars —
What hardware should I be ordering alongside it?

Looking for:

• Which stretch bolts/nuts need replacing
• Part numbers
• Best place to buy them (dealer / TPS / Autodoc etc)
  

If anyone knows the torque specs for each of them as well that would be great.

Steering/tie rods could also be affected, double check that. Off course get it aligned afterwards
